During your stay in Bonifacio, don't miss the iconic King of Aragon's Staircase! The views are breathtaking all the way down. From the top, you'll enjoy an exceptional 180° panorama of the cliffs, the turquoise sea and, directly opposite, the island of Sardinia. Once you've climbed back up all 189 steps, children who complete the climb will receive a certificate signed by the King of Aragon.
Before your visit, leave your flip-flops behind! Flat, closed-toe shoes are required. Our staff will be happy to provide you with a safety helmet at the entrance.
A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, as you'll need to descend the uneven steps to the sea and then climb back up. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 3 years old must be carried in a baby carrier.
For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed on the site.
