Feel the rhythm of polyphonic singing with the group Spartera

Spartera is a vocal and musical ensemble made up of six Corsican singers and musicians. The group offers a wide range of performances, from traditional Corsican polyphony to live entertainment for weddings, private parties and festive events.

As the group’s name suggests, “sharing” lies at the heart of its vision and approach to singing, alongside the desire to pass on Corsican musical traditions and the simple joy of singing together.

Spartera offers several types of performances:

Committed to preserving the authenticity of Corsican singing, Spartera provides performances deeply rooted in the island’s traditional heritage. These include polyphonic and acoustic concerts featuring vocals and guitars, traditional Masses sung in polyphony, and musical entertainment combining historic Corsican songs with contemporary music.

The group also offers a more varied repertoire, blending Corsican songs with traditional and popular international music, particularly in French, English, Spanish and Italian. These performances are generally available for events such as wedding cocktail receptions and dinners, private parties, restaurant evenings and local fairs.
