I Campagnoli is one of the oldest Corsican polyphonic groups. Its name means “The Men of the Land”. Its repertoire includes secular and sacred songs, as well as original compositions. The group mainly performs in churches, where the full power of its voices can truly be appreciated.
The group is made up of Guy Calvelli on vocals, Louis Crispi on vocals, Saveriu Bellini on vocals and guitar, and Isabelle Giannelli on violin.
I Campagnoli was formed in 1989 by a group of young people from Nebbiu and Bastia who shared a passion for polyphonic singing. Over the decades, the ensemble has continually reinvented itself, refocusing around a smaller group of singers and introducing instruments to accompany the purity of the voices.
With I Campagnoli, discover the richness of a land where singing is deeply woven into every aspect of life.
