A word of advice for visiting the Escalier du Roy d'Aragon: leave your flip-flops at home! Flat, closed-toe shoes are required.

A good level of fitness is recommended, as you will need to descend the uneven steps to the sea and then climb back up. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 3 years old must be carried in a baby carrier.
For safety reasons, dogs are not allowed to visit this monument.
